Tech Gaa Factory is a part of the greater Tech Gaa Farmers Co-Operative Society located in Fort Ternan in Kericho County. This county is towards the Northwestern region of Kenya, lying in the Great Rift Valley, which is characterized by hilly scenery, tea, and livestock farming. They use a fully washed process where the cherries are hand-picked and delivered to the factory where they are hand sorted, weighed, pulped, and fermented for 24 hours. After drying, the coffee is then sorted for a second time. After this process, the coffee is delivered to the Kipkellion Coffee Mill for dry milling, grading, and bagging.
